Death Cab For Cutie at High and Low Festival

tHeARTofLA got to check out Death Cab For Cutie at High and Low Festival on Saturday, September 9th at the NOS Event Center in San Bernadino, CA. Death Cab, from Bellingham, WA, helped define the quintessential indie rock sound in the early 2000’s with the release of Transatlanticism (2003). The band is also known for shaping the emo genre, with Something About Airplanes (1998) frequently cited as one of the most influential emo albums of the late ’90s. 20 years after Death Cab For Cutie’s formation, and eight studio albums under their belts, the band’s distinctive style has garnered dazzling critical and commercial success.
