Bayside Announce Upcoming Tour with New Found Glory, The Movielife, and William Ryan Key

Tickets Available For Presale:
newfoundglory.shofetti.com

Bayside is thrilled to announce that they will be hitting the road this spring with Hopeless Records label mates New Found Glory, as well as fellow New Yorkers The Movielife, and former Yellowcard vocalist, William Ryan Key. Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 19th at 12pm local time, with presale tickets available now at newfoundglory.shofetti.com.

“It’s very rare for a whole tour package to work this well musically and socially,” vocalist Anthony Raneri shares. “I have a New Found Glory tattoo and a couple of them have Bayside tattoos. I’ve sang on NFG records and both the members of NFG and Vinnie from the Movielife have sang on Bayside records. The Movielife and NFG might have been two of the first bands that we ever gave our demo to when we first started Bayside. This is a very special tour for us on many levels.”

Vacancy is the 7th and latest studio album from Bayside. It was written during an uncertain time for Raneri – the end of a relationship and the beginning of a mission of reflection and self-examination – and represents a case study in self-acceptance. He admits those twelve compositions are especially cathartic because he was literally “coming to terms with what my life was becoming.” Fans can check out the band’s latest video “Mary” now on Youtube, or stream Vacancy in full via Spotify. To purchase, please visit: smarturl.it/Vacancy.

Bayside spent 2017 on tour in support of their latest record, before closing out the year with a highly successful 10 Year Anniversary tour in the U.S. and U.K. in celebration of their third album, The Walking Wounded. “The Walking Wounded was a really important record for us both personally and career wise. It was the record that got us back on our feet after our accident and also marked a big breakout for us professionally,” Raneri explains.”It was the first record and touring cycle that we did with the current line up. We felt it was important to celebrate the ten year anniversary of such an important time in our lives.”

Now, with a new year and even more shows ahead, Bayside is ready to keep moving forward.

New Found Glory Releases New Song and Music Video “20 Years From Now”

“20 Years from Now” by New Found Glory
Watch the Video Here

New Found Glory has been taking their “20 Years of Pop Punk” Tour all around the world, recently teasing an unreleased song before their set every night. Last week, the band shared the full track and accompanying music video for “20 Years From Now” featuring old home video footage from the Pop-Punk pioneers’ career as well as highlights from this monumental anniversary tour.

For an in-depth oral history of the last 2 Decades, fans can head to NYLON who shared, “The glory is as much ours as it is theirs. Pop-punk is alive, it is well, and it is in good hands.” The new video is streaming on iTunes, Apple Music and Spotify.

On the track, Guitarist Chad Gilbert shares “’20 Years From Now’ is a song we wrote and recorded during the Makes Me Sick album sessions. We loved the song and felt it stood out in a different way than the rest so instead of squeezing it on the album, we wanted to give it a life of it’s own. If you have seen us on this recent 20 Years Of Pop Punk tour then you got a first listen as it was our intro to the concert. We have learned so many lessons over the 20 years of this band but the underlining meaning of the song is about letting go of worry to feel true freedom. When you reflect on your life you realize how arguments, pride, and the worry of proving yourself never changed or fixed anything. Failure and missteps help refine your character and make you wiser. All you truly need to worry about is waking up each day and to try to be the best version of yourself. We feel very lucky that when we wake up we still get to be in this band. Thank you for that and we hope you enjoy the song.”

Earlier this Fall, New Found Glory premiered the music video for the island jam “The Sound of Two Voices.” On the track, Billboard shared that the “most un-New Found Glory-sounding song (from Makes Me Sick) was also its best…’The Sound of Two Voices’ takes some steel drums and a ska-punk backbone, and rolls a fat one for anyone who thinks they’ve seen the last of New Found Glory’s fresh ideas.”

Last weekend, the band wrapped up the tour that has been giving fans all around the world two full albums each night from the band’s impressive catalog.

New Found Glory Premieres New Music Video for “The Sound of Two Voices”

Fall Headline Tour Tickets On Sale Now:   http://newfoundglory.shofetti.com/

New Found Glory is premiering their new music video for the island jam “The Sound of Two Voices” exclusively with Billboard yesterday. On the track, Billboard shares that the “most un-New Found Glory-sounding song (from Makes Me Sick) was also its best…’The Sound of Two Voices’ takes some steel drums and a ska-punk backbone, and rolls a fat one for anyone who thinks they’ve seen the last of New Found Glory’s fresh ideas.”

Watch the music video for “The Sound of Two Voices” below:

Fans  can purchase a Limited Edition Collectible Bundle that includes the Makes Me Sick Yellow Vinyl LP, a “Triton” T-Shirt, “Makes Me Sick” Sunglasses and a Custom “Go Fish” Card Pack at http://smarturl.it/nfgmerch.

Makes Me Sick, the band’s latest full length, which was released earlier this year, experiments with new sounds, techniques and styles for the band. “The Sound of Two Voices” leads the charge in these areas and shows that a band that has been around for 2 decades can still create music as fresh as their first singles.

The album landed at the #1 spot on the Record Label Independent Current Albums chart. Additionally, the album secured numerous charting positions including the #2 spot on the Current Alternative Albums, #5 for Top Current Rock Albums and the #39 spot on the Billboard Top 200.

On the track and video, Gilbert told Billboard, “When everyone started loving the track, we wanted to make a video. The ‘Under the Sea’ thing and the meaning behind the song — we wanted to tie it all together. Those who have to struggle with addiction in their lives know the ‘you only live once’ mentality doesn’t really work because you can only do that for so often before you’re self-destructive.”

New Found Glory is also excited to be hitting the road again this Fall for the last US leg of their 20 Years of Pop-Punk Tour. Kicking off in Columbia, SC on October 24th, this tour will give fans two full albums each night from the band’s impressive catalog including Catalyst, Not Without A Fight, Self-Titled, Sticks and Stones, Resurrection and From The Screen To Your Stereo.

The tour will travel to cities like Brooklyn, Cleveland, Salt Lake City, Portland, San Diego and New Orleans before wrapping up in Nashville, TN on December 3rd. All tickets are on-sale and available at http://newfoundglory.shofetti.com/.

The album has seen incredible praise with fans and press alike with Newsday saying, “All these pop-punk anthems champion taking chances and evolving.”

Additionally, Alternative Press praised that Makes Me Sick “combines the fun factor of albums like Sticks And Stones and Radiosurgery with some of the musical poise and maturity of Coming Home — and, in the process, creates enough slight sonic diversions to give longtime fans something new to enjoy.”

Chorus.fm celebrated that “NFG continued to push their brand of pop-punk towards different genres and ideas, but Makes Me Sick is the record that finally puts it all together into one cohesive, consistent LP.”

Fans can purchase the album on iTunes, Amazon, Best Buy or online, and stream it on Spotify. The album, produced by Aaron Sprinkle (MxPx, Anberlin, Acceptance) and mixed by Tom Lord-Alge (U2, The Rolling Stones, Blink 182), takes risks, introduces new sounds and proves that after 20 years, New Found Glory is better than ever.
