Second Annual Ozzfest meets Knotfest Announces Charity Pit

Charity Pit Featuring
Amnesty International,
Rock Against MS, PETA and More

Saturday, November 4 (OZZFEST)
and Sunday, November 5 (KNOTFEST)
At The Glen Helen Amphitheater and Festival Grounds

While every festival and concert has a pit…this year’s OZZFEST MEETS KNOTFEST will have the first-ever CHARITY PIT, a special area within the festival village to raise funds and awareness for a variety of organizations.

Representatives from Amnesty International, PETA, Love Hope Strength, and Rock Against MS, among others (see full list below) will be onsite to help spread the word, while also offering concertgoers fun and prizes (including vintage merchandise, backstage access to the festival, meet and greets and more).

Additional information on the CHARITY PIT can be found here.

Here’s some feedback from a few of the participating charities:

“We’re excited to be part of the Charity Pit at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest! We have Amnesty tables at concerts and festivals around the country to talk to fans about human rights issues and ask them to take action by signing our petitions and on social media.”
— Amnesty International USA

“Love Hope Strength is thrilled to be involved in this year’s Ozzfest meets Knotfest and will use the festival as a platform to further our mission–saving lives, one concert at a time. We accomplish this by encouraging concert goers to get on the bone marrow donor list, in an effort to find life saving marrow donors for blood cancer patients in need of transplants. This is done by completing a simple contact form and cheek swab and is 100% free. We couldn’t do what we do without the festivals, artists and fans who help us thrive and we are eternally grateful for the support of Ozzfest and Knotfest. GET ON THE LIST!”
— Love Hope Strength

“Thanks to supporters like Prophets of Rage and Ozzfest Meets Knotfest, PATH is proud to continue to provide permanent homes and supportive services for the most vulnerable individuals and families in California. It is because of this support that we are confident in our ability to reach our goal of helping 10,000 people Make it Home by 2020.”

“PETA’s Flesh is for Zombies booth will remind people that animals deserve to live, not be chopped up for the mindless masses.”

This year’s two-day OZZFEST MEETS KNOTFEST (Saturday, November 4 and Sunday, November 5) at Glen Helen Amphitheater and Festival Groundsin San Bernardino, CA will feature a power packed line-up led by performances from Ozzy Osbourne and Prophets of Rage on Saturday at OZZFEST plus Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson at KNOTFEST on Sunday.

The multi-stage camping event will include sets from more than 40 acts. The weekend-long OZZFEST MEETS KNOTFEST will kick off with an exclusive free Friday, November 3 camping kick-off concert that will give campers early access to the campsite, allowing them time to prepare for a night of performances from Monster Magnet, Brant Bjork, Sasquatch, and Lo-Pan.

VIP camping lines open at 4:00 PM, general camping load in begins at 5:00 PM. Doors to the Friday night camping kick-off party open at 7:00 PM with live music set to kick off at 8:00 PM.

“Black Sabbath: The End Of The End” Official Trailer Available

One Night Only In Cinemas Worldwide
September 28 2017

Full List Of Theaters And Tickets Available Here

“The End of The End” chronicles the final tour from the band that spawned the metal genre–BLACK SABBATH. On February 4, 2017, BLACK SABBATH stormed the stage in the U.K. in their hometown of Birmingham, to play the 81st and final triumphant gig of “The End” tour. This monumental show brought down the curtain on a career that spanned almost half a century.

The sold-out performance marked the culmination of a global tour that saw the band play to over one and a half million fans. With their inception in 1968, BLACK SABBATH pioneered a sound that would form the basis of heavy metal, and to this day continues to influence bands the world over.

The film brings fans the up close and personal story of the final, emotionally charged concert, as the band perform hits including “Iron Man,” “Paranoid,” “War Pigs” and many more. BLACK SABBATH are also seen in the studio, as they deliver unique and exclusive performances of some of their favorite songs not played on the tour, and catch an intimate glimpse into the band’s world: the music, relationships and banter, alongside personal anecdotes.

Watch the trailer for “The End of The End” here:

The band said: “To bring it all back home after all these years was pretty special. It was so hard to say goodbye to the fans, who’ve been incredibly loyal to us through the years. We never dreamed in the early days that we’d be here 49 years later doing our last show on our home turf.”

“The End of The End” offers viewers the chance to witness BLACK SABBATH‘s swansong. As OZZY says, “What a journey we’ve all had. It’s fucking amazing.”

This is the final word from the greatest heavy metal band of all time.

Marc Allenby from Trafalgar Releasing said: “Trafalgar Releasing are excited to be expanding our music events with the legendary band, BLACK SABBATH, and their final ever historic show. We look forward to collaborating with Eagle Rock and BLACK SABBATH‘s management on ‘The End of the End’.”

For one night only on September 28 2017, over 1,500 cinemas worldwide will be showing a specially edited version of “Black Sabbath: The End Of The End.”

The film will be distributed to cinemas worldwide by Trafalgar Releasing on September 28 and will include the historic final gig as well as unprecedented behind the scenes access to the band, filmed by director Dick Carruthers (Led Zeppelin: Celebration Day, Imagine Dragons: Smoke + Mirrors Live). “The End, Live In Birmingham” will be released in various formats later this year.

Tickets are now on sale worldwide with more cinemas to follow soon. If “Black Sabbath: The End Of The End“ is not screening in a specific area, fans can make a request for via ‘Demand It’ it by filling out a form on the website, and Trafalgar Releasing will do their best to bring the event to a cinema near them.
